Capturing Love in Portland: Alena & Chelsea's Engagement Session


I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alena and Chelsea for their engagement session, and let me tell you, it was a dream! We started their adventure right at their charming home in North Portland, capturing some sweet and intimate moments before heading out to explore some of my favorite Portland spots.

First stop: McMenamins Edgefield. This quirky and historic venue provided the perfect backdrop for some whimsical portraits. We wandered through the gardens, explored the grounds, and even snuck in a few shots with the iconic Edgefield sign.

Next, we headed up to Crown Point for some breathtaking views. 

Alena and Chelsea were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and their love for each other was truly infectious. It was an absolute joy to capture their connection and document this exciting chapter in their lives with engagement photos. 

Congratulations to Alena and Chelsea! I can't wait for their wedding day.

Vegas baby! Liz and Zach's Las Vegas Wedding

Zach and Liz live in the PNW.  They planned their wedding in Las Vegas, NV so they could have a small intimate and stress-free day and just have a fun time with their closest people.  Liz and Zach love tattoos and going to shows. They have been dating for more than 10 years and finally decided to get married. Liz loves vintage and retro decor. She found Flora pop online and fell in love with the vintage teardrop pop up wedding trailer for her ceremony and reception at the El Dorado Dry Lake Beds in Nevada. Sadly we brought the PNW weather with us and in poured rain in the desert make for very wet lake beds instead.  It didn't rain on our parade though. We all made the best of it and toasted to how life is funny that way. Sometimes you can have all the perfect plans made and yet things happen. T+D=Love {Vancouver WA Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

T+D=Love Oh I had so much fun doing Tamasen and Daniel's engagement session in Battleground WA. Our weather was so unpredictable that day... We canceled at first due to rain.. then the sun broke through the grey clouds a bit and we jumped at the opportunity to get out there and take advantage of the dry weather while we had the chance. It was so perfect. The sky was a giant soft box and we didn't get rained on. We went to the location where they got engaged. I was impressed with the massive old barn. There were lots of animals hanging out with us too. We even spotted an owl. The chickens loved the camera and Daniel made friends with a cat. I'm so thrilled that these two have chosen me to be their wedding photographer. I am so excited to work with them again and tell the story of their wedding day.
