I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alena and Chelsea for their engagement session, and let me tell you, it was a dream! We started their adventure right at their charming home in North Portland, capturing some sweet and intimate moments before heading out to explore some of my favorite Portland spots. First stop: McMenamins Edgefield . This quirky and historic venue provided the perfect backdrop for some whimsical portraits. We wandered through the gardens, explored the grounds, and even snuck in a few shots with the iconic Edgefield sign. Next, we headed up to Crown Point for some breathtaking views.  Alena and Chelsea were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and their love for each other was truly infectious. It was an absolute joy to capture their connection and document this exciting chapter in their lives with engagement photos.  Congratulations to Alena and Chelsea! I can't wait for their wedding day.

I had the best time getting to know them during their engagement session on Officers Row in Vancouver, WA.. They are having an Americana Summer wedding; which I totally dig! Chemistry... Alex and Clay came to me a couple months ago for a wedding consultation and I instantly felt a connection with them. Their love is so genuine and they are two of the nicest people I've met. Their proposal story is one of the BEST! They went on a trip to Disney and when they got there Clay got down on one knee and asked Alex to marry him! --- I thought "DISNEY, are your freaking kidding me?!?!" That has got to be the coolest location I've heard of! (maybe it's just because I love Disneyland and Disney world so much) Just talking with them at our consult, I was so excited and inspired by their love story that I couldn't wait to work with them. "Sometimes you just know!" That's what Mark said to me as he explained his marriage proposal story. I listened to him as he described the experience and I watch her face light up with the most beautiful gleam. Totally and Completely in L O V E.  (All the feels people seriously!)  The way he spoke about Lindsay and how much he loves and wants to marry her-- I thought to myself "I have to photograph this wedding"  I'm such a sucker for love.. but sometimes I have these clients that I just completely fall in love with!!
